Canine Concierge Corporation (CCC) is a Fairfax-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to ethical, evidence-based animal-assisted therapy (AAT) across the Northern Virginia (NOVA) region. We believe deeply in the measurable impact therapy dogs have on emotional health, stress reduction, social connection, and quality of life — and in the dignity of providing that care to those who need it most. Our work is simple in purpose, yet profound in reach: to deliver free, certified therapy dog services to individuals, families, and institutions serving vulnerable communities.
Our Mission
At Canine Concierge Corporation, our mission is to advance ethical therapy dog programs, education, and access for vulnerable populations throughout Fairfax County and the surrounding region. We will partner with hospitals, nursing homes, senior centers, rehabilitation facilities, police departments, and community organizations to provide compassionate support that enhances well-being, alleviates stress, and nurtures emotional resilience — at no cost to the organizations we serve.
We will specialize in training and deploying highly skilled, certified therapy dogs, ensuring every visit is safe, meaningful, and rooted in evidence-based outcomes such as reduced anxiety, lowered blood pressure, increased social engagement, and comfort for individuals facing trauma, illness, or isolation.

Quality care begins with quality training. Every CCC therapy dog completes:
- A structured obedience foundation program
- Followed by extended specialized AAT certification training
Canine Concierge Corporation is also registered with SAM.gov (UEI: S3KCFZM2N6N7), operating with a commitment to transparency, accountability, and responsible nonprofit governance. This federal registration enables CCC to pursue public-sector grants and partnerships to sustainably expand therapy dog access throughout Virginia.
Paws for Purpose NOVA (PFPN)
Our Signature Community Event
Each year, CCC will host Paws for Purpose NOVA (PFPN), a community walk and celebration that brings together therapy dog teams, families, supporters, and local partners to champion the power of animal-assisted therapy.
PFPN is more than a walk. It is a platform for:
- Awareness and public education
- Community connection
- Ethical therapy dog advocacy
Participants experience:
- A scenic, accessible walking route designed for all ages and abilities
- Opportunities to meet certified therapy dog teams
- Exhibitors supporting wellness, animal care, and community health
- A welcoming environment celebrating the human–animal bond
Funds raised through PFPN will directly support CCC’s therapy dog programs, handler training, and community outreach initiatives.
